Summer memories

Here’s a digital painting I made for my parents as a Christmas gift. It was inspired by one of their recent trips to the beach in France. I wasn’t there myself, so it’s my own imagined version of their holiday.
No photobashing or 3D, just hand painted.

I had it printed on a high-quality aluminium plate and surprised them with it. Apparently, they loved it!

The power of art isn’t only about finding a job we love or bringing the worlds in our minds to life. It can also be a way to express love and affection for the people closest to us.
